The Did you know? Technology series really makes me think about the future of our students and education. We watched this video last year at one of our faculty meetings. Many faculty were flabbergasted about the statistics. Some of us shared it with our students and they seemed surprised about many of the statements. I am not sure how accurate all of the information is, but it an eye opener. I had my video students view this, and there were many comments such as "so I am going to work in a job that does not exist yet? no way", "are we not that smart here in the US", and "we are going from CD's to iPods to cell phones that do everything to maybe a chip in our head that will do everything." They did enjoy watching it and there comments were interesting. There are many more Did you know? videos that have been created with a similar themes.
